TAREQ ABUISSA is a composer, lyricist, and music director. His four stage musicals include the tech industry satire South of Market: The Musical, and more recently, Naked, about a Manet painting and gender parity in the visual arts. His scoring for the screen includes multiple Lincoln Center interview series and Animation thesis films at the University of Southern California.

While studying Music and Mathematics at Columbia University, Abuissa co-composed the 118th Varsity Show, The Corporate Core. His composition teachers included Fred Lerdahl and Osvaldo Golijov.
