Rickey Minor is an Emmy Award-winning music director who recently earned two Emmy nominations for Music Direction for both the 43rd Annual Kennedy Center Honors and the 44th Annual Kennedy Center Honors. He won the Emmy in 2020 for The Kennedy Center Honors and in 2017 for Taking the Stage: African American Music and Stories That Changed America. Minor has garnered a total of 14 Emmy nominations. Minor has served as Music Director for the Oscars, the Grammys, the Super Bowl, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, American Idol, and more. Upcoming projects include Homeward Bound: A GRAMMY Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon.
