Rickey Minor is an Emmy Award-winning music director who recently earned an Emmy nomination for Music Direction for the 95th Academy Awards®. He won the Emmy in 2020 for The Kennedy Center Honors and in 2017 for Taking the Stage: African American Music and Stories That Changed America. Minor has garnered a total of 15 Emmy nominations. Minor has conducted the Oscars and served as music director for the Grammy Awards, the Super Bowl, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, American Idol, Homeward Bound: A GRAMMY Salute to the Songs of Paul Simon, and more.
