Jeff Beal’s The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari To Be Presented SCL Jury Award

Jeff Beal’s The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, whose score was premiered and performed live to picture in June at Carnegie Hall to great critical acclaim has earned the SCL’s Jury Award, to be presented at the 6th SCL Awards on February 12, 2025 in Los Angeles.

This is the third Jury Award, following Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels’ opera Omar and the multimedia concert event Women Warriors: The Voices of Change led by conductor Amy Andersson, both from the 4th SCL Awards in 2023.
