The Society of Composers and Lyricists Seminar: Annual Membership Meeting 2016 - Sean Callery Sean Callery has a total of 14 Emmy nominations and 4 wins, making him one of the most nominated composers of all time. Callery currently composes the music for hit series such as Netflix’s Peabody Award-winning “Jessica Jones,” starring Krysten Ritter, Showtime’s award-winning drama “Homeland,” starring Claire Danes and Mandy Patinkin, CBS’s hit Sherlock Holmes inspired drama series “Elementary,” starring Lucy Liu and Jonny Lee Miller, and Fox’s award-winning “24,” and “Bones,” which is Fox’s longest-running procedural drama.  Sean’s music was recently heard in Fox’s “Minority Report,” which was produced by Steven Spielberg. Callery is also working on Fox’s series revival “24: Legacy.”

With 10 Emmy nominations for “24,” Sean Callery is the only composer to get nominated every year for a series that ran more than 3 seasons. Known for composing the show’s suspense-driven scores, Sean composed all nine seasons of “24,” as well as the 2008 TV movie “24: Redemption.”

In 2016, Callery won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music for “Jessica Jones” and was recognized in the same category for “Elementary” in 2013 and “Homeland” in 2012.  Additionally, Callery won the Composer’s Choice Award for “2014 Composer of the Year” at the ASCAP Awards.
