Lauren Lucas
Nashville Steering Committee
Lauren Lucas is a South Carolina native and a proud Belmont University alumna. An Academy of Country Music and Tony Award nominee, you have heard Lauren’s songs on Broadway (Urban Cowboy), TV and film (ABC network, feature films), and on other artist’s projects, such as Danielle Peck, Damien Horne and Risa Binder, to name a few. As a touring ar.st, Lauren has shared stages with Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion, Blake Shelton, Billy Currington, Maroon 5 and The Bacon Brothers (Kevin & Michael) and many more. She spent nearly three years touring with the all-female harmony band, Farewell Angelina and penned several songs on their latest EP. Lucas has released a string of new projects of her own in recent years. Most recently, inspired by the Trio albums of Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and Linda Ronstadt, Lucas released a trio album of her own called, Lo-Fi Dolly. Covering country hits from the 1970’s-1990’s, she joins veteran Nashville songwriters Sara Beck and Kimberly Quinn for this self-produced, harmony-drenched collaboration.
