When Marketing Meets Mindset

October 9 @ 5:00 pm 6:00 pm PDT

With so many ways a modern musician can create, release, promote, and monetize their music, it can be nearly impossible to know what direction to take, and what steps specifically will make the difference. Today’s creators need more than a new algorithm trick or chat bot. They need systems that are aligned with who they are, what their creations are, and where those creations will most likely be consumed to the max. In other words, today’s creators need alignment, self awareness, and a minute to themselves to be able to assess everything they have as well as what is missing.

In this special, holistic, but actionable conversation, certified trauma-informed coach Cheryl B. Engelhardt will touch on the major systems every musician needs to have in place to feel grounded, connected to themselves and their audience, and to be able to create a plan that will have them be effective at achieving their goals.

Cheryl B. Engelhardt is a GRAMMY®-Nominated artist, composer for theater, choirs, commercials, and meditation apps, and a staple in the independent music scene, and has been featured in Forbes, Grammy.com, Harper’s Bazaar, and People.

She’s performed with Sting, composed and produced her seventh album during a cross-USA train journey, secured dozens of TV placements of her songs, toured globally, and garnered over 1 million Spotify streams in 2023 alone. Also a certified trauma-informed coach, Cheryl shares her insights in her musician mastermind, Amplify, and the marketing resources site, In The Key of Success. She facilitates in-person workshops and retreats for artists, choirs, and other creative types, focusing on optimizing systems, whether communication, email marketing, or even nervous systems.

A Cornell University alumna, she’s a sought-after moderator and panelist at conferences like SXSW, ASCAP Expo, as well as multiple universities, also contributing to The Recording Academy’s District Advocacy and DEI teams and has chaired the American Choral Directors Association East Division’s Contemporary/Commercial Repertoire board.
