The Society of Composers & Lyricists and the Television Academy once again hosted the annual Primetime EMMY Reception to honor the Nominees in the Music categories on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008.

The Primetime EMMY Awards for Music and other crafts were awarded on Saturday, September 13th, with segments airing on the live telecast on Sunday, September 21st.
