Films with Scores by SCL Members Added to National Film Registry

Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden announced today the annual selection of 25 influential motion pictures to be inducted into the National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.

The films which include scores by SCL Members are as follows:

Star Wars Episode VI — Return of the Jedi (1983) JOHN WILLIAMS
A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) CHARLES BERNSTEIN
Selena (1997) DAVE GRUSIN
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) HOWARD SHORE
WALL-E (2008) THOMAS NEWMAN
