SCL grieves loss of JOE HARNELL

JOE HARNELL August 2, 1924 – July 14, 2005

The Society of Composers & Lyricists community grieves the loss of our friend and colleague JOE HARNELL, composer, pianist, arranger, conductor, educator, and author. He died Thursday night of heart failure in Sherman Oaks,CA. Services will be private. A memorial celebration will be announced at a later date. He is survived by his wife Alice, numerous family members and many friends.

Contributions may be made in Joe Harnell’s name to the USC Thornton School of Music, Los Angeles, CA.
