Pennyworth with David Russo

From Warner Horizon Scripted Television, DC origin story Pennyworth is a ten-episode, one-hour drama series based on DC characters created by Bob Kane with Bill Finger. It follows Bruce Wayne’s legendary butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company and goes to work with Thomas Wayne, Bruce’s billionaire father, in 1960’s London. Bruno Heller serves as executive producer/writer and Danny Cannon serves as executive producer/director. This post-screening interview features composer David Russo and is moderated by Byron Burton.

David E. Russo is an award-winning composer, producer, songwriter, and touring artist. His credits include the phenomenally moody and atmospheric music behind the hit Fox series Gotham and its acclaimed, highly-stylized spinoff, Pennyworth. Most recently, his music can be heard in epic father-son drama Windows on The World, starring Edward James Olmos, directed by Michael D Olmos, which premiered last month on VIX.
