Annual Membership Meeting 2023

On Wednesday, October 11th in Los Angeles, the Society of Composers & Lyricists leadership updated SCL members on what’s been happening in the past year, including updates on the New York and Nashville Chapters, legislative action and advocacy in Washington, D.C., and the upcoming 5th Annual SCL Awards. There also was an opportunity for members to ask questions directly to SCL President Ashley Irwin.

After these updates, composer and SCL CFO Christopher Farrell moderated a panel discussion titled The Evolving Demands of a Media Composer’s Career featuring composers Bruce Broughton, Hannah Parrott, and Dara Taylor.
