Dominic Houston, VP Music, Netflix. Dominic oversees a global team of music professionals that is responsible for all business & legal affairs matters relating to the use of music in the production, marketing, and distribution of Netflix. Prior to joining Netflix in 2013, Dominic was responsible for music business and legal affairs at last.fm and at AOL Europe. In the distant past, he also managed a successful electronic dance music record label and music publishing business.
Amy Dunning currently serves as Vice President, Music Original Films at Netflix. She joined the company in 2019 and built the Music Creative/Production team across Original Films, Series and Animation. She is currently launching this team in EMEA, the UK, and India. Before joining Netflix she was Head of Music at Lionsgate films where she worked with the music teams on La La Land, Wonder, and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2.
Prior to Lionsgate, Amy served as SVP of Creative and Business Development at Downtown Music Publishing. She started her career at 20th Century Fox as VP, Music where her credits included: Oscar Winners, Life of Pi and Juno as well as Wolverine, 500 Days of Summer, and Maze Runner; she also had the pleasure of introducing the songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul to The Greatest Showman filmmakers. Carolyn Javier is a Vice President in the Music Group at Netflix. Prior to joining Netflix, she led music teams for multiple business units at Disney, including the Disney Music Group where she was SVP, Business Affairs, and The Disney/ABC Television Group where she was VP, Music Business/Legal Affairs. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and started playing music at an early age. Carolyn’s role at Netflix sits at the intersection of music and content and combines her passion for music, tech, and content.
