Early Career Development

Esin Aydingoz is an emerging conductor and composer, active in a diverse range of work spanning animation, film, television, video games, and stage musicals. Originally from Istanbul, she moved to the United States to pursue her studies at Berklee College of Music, where she later served as the Assistant Chair of the Screen Scoring Department. In 2024, Esin earned a Gramm nomination for her cello arrangement of the Rolling Stones' iconic "Paint It Black," featured in Tim Burton’s Emmy-winning Netflix series Wednesday. Her arrangement reached #1 on the Billboard Classical Charts.

Esin performed as music director and conductor for the first-ever U.S. national tours of Disney-Pixar’s Coco: Live-to-Film Concert (2023 & 2024) with Orquesta Fólclorica Nacional de México. She conducted The Lion King (both the 1994 and 2019 versions) live-to-picture in Istanbul and Ankara. Tapped by Academy Award-winning composer Justin Hurwitz, Esin conducted Lionsgate's La La Land in Concert with the Wordless Music Orchestra in Boston. As a frequent collaborator with Disney Concerts, Esin served as the assistant music director for Disney’s a cappella sensation, DCappella, created an orchestral medley for Disney+’s inaugural launch event in Turkey in 2022, where she also performed as a pianist, and arranged & produced 10 tracks for various Disney Peaceful Piano albums. She recently conducted the string sessions for three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej's newest album, GANDHI: Mantras for Compassion.

Esin’s debut feature film score for Simchas and Sorrows was nominated for the prestigious David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent from the Society of Composers & Lyricists. Her score for the highly praised drama, She Taught Love, received widespread recognition following its theatrical release and is currently streaming on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally. She contributed additional music to Apple TV’s SEE, Netflix’s Blood Origin and Princess Power, Hallmark’s One Summer and Presence of Love, and is currently scoring her first AA-level video game, Olpamis.
