Esin Aydingoz

Esin Aydingoz is a media composer hailing from Istanbul, Turkey and the Assistant Chair of Berklee College of Music's Screen Scoring Department.
She has composed for a wide array of projects including film, TV, video games, and musicals. Her music for The Monster of the Desert and Noor have brought her several "Best Score" awards. She was recently nominated for the "David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent" by The Society of Composers and Lyricists. She has written additional music on Apple TV's SEE starring Jason Momoa, Netflix's Princess Power & The Witcher: Blood Origin and Hallmark's One Summer & Presence of Love. Other career highlights were Amazon Prime’s The Prevalence, Kino Lorber's Cinema's First Nasty Women series, a branded documentary for US Bank, touring with the BSFO, and her recent feature documentary, Black Barbie, which just premiered at SXSW in March.
Scoring work aside, Esin is a professional pianist, arranger and music director. She was the featured pianist on Broadway Sinfonietta's full-orchestra debut concert in NYC as part of the Carnegie Hall Citywide series. She arranged a brand new orchestral medley for The Walt Disney Company in honor of Disney+'s inaugural launch in Turkey and performed it live with the Istanbul Film Music Orchestra. She has arranged and produced for many other Disney albums and concerts, as well as being the assistant music director for their a cappella sensation, “DCappella”. She arranged for Grammy-Award winning artists such as Lalo Schifrin and Booker T. Jones. Her arrangement of Paint It Black on Tim Burton's hit Netflix show Wednesday was #1 on the Billboard Classical Charts. She recorded piano on Sony's The Broken Hearts Gallery and Disney's HSMTMS featuring Olivia Rodrigo.
Esin created two different concert experiences for the 49th Istanbul Music Festival, where she not only served as a composer, pianist and music director, but also as an artistic director. She worked with Black Ink Presents in LA as a production assistant on various Live-to-Film concert experiences at The Hollywood Bowl and The Greek Theatre, such as Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Paramount Pictures' Rocketman. She performed at The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as part of the Hollywood Turkish Film Festival. Her chamber music and solo piano works have been performed in LA, Istanbul, Boston, Riga and Taichung. She had a world premiere of her orchestral and choral piece "A Shattered Fantasy" at the Auditorium Stravinski in Montreux, Switzerland in October 2022.
A voting member for The Recording Academy, a committee member for The Society of Composers and Lyricists, a mentor for Sound Thinking NYC, a co-founder for AudioBrew, and the secretary for The Alliance for Women Film Composers, Esin truly strives to make the world a better place through the arts.
