DANNY GRAY is an internationally-awarded composer of multimedia scores and concert music. He has contributed theme music and underscore to over one thousand episodes of major network television, including NBC Dateline, 20/20, and various programs on History Channel, National Geographic, and Investigation Discovery. In 2017 he received a nomination for Best Original Score at the 2017 World Music and Independent Film Festival, and in 2019 he orchestrated the theme music for the Suncoast EMMY®-winning documentary Seize & Secure: The Battle for La Fière.
His orchestral and choral music has been performed throughout the United States and abroad, and has been commissioned and recorded by ensembles including The Chelsea Symphony, The Manhattan Choral Ensemble, and the Australian Boys Choir.
Danny is a graduate of the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. He designed the media scoring curriculum for Western Connecticut State University and enjoys leading workshops and seminars on film and media scoring. From 2015 to 2018 he served as Associate Administrator of the SCL New York, and now coordinates the SCL NY Mentor Program.
