Submissions Open for 6th Annual SCL Awards®

Submissions have now opened for all competitive categories in the 6th Annual SCL Awards®.

The Society of Composers & Lyricists, the premier organization for composers and songwriters working in visual media, hosts the annual SCL Awards®, which celebrate excellence and innovation in music for visual media. This year’s awards will take place on February 12th 2025 in Los Angeles.

Awards are presented in eight competitive categories:

  • Outstanding Original Score for a Studio Film
  • Outstanding Original Score for an Independent Film
  • Outstanding Original Score for a Television Production
  • Outstanding Original Title Sequence for a Television Production
  • Outstanding Original Song for a Dramatic or Documentary Visual Media Production
  • Outstanding Original Song for a Comedy or Musical Visual Media Production
  • Outstanding Original Score for Interactive Media
  • David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent.

Nominees and winners are judged and determined solely by member composers and songwriters.

SCL Members may now submit their work here. Submissions close December 2nd.
