Five Days at Memorial is based on actual events and adapted from the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Sheri Fink, which chronicles the impact of Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath on a local hospital. When the floodwaters rose, power failed and heat soared, exhausted caregivers at a New Orleans hospital were forced to make decisions that would follow them for years to come.

Torin Borrowdale is a film composer who collaborates with directors and producers to craft memorable and emotive scores. Borrowdale scores Netflix’s Original Series, Locke & Key, as well as the score for Lionsgate feature film Run. Borrowdale’s previous work includes The Toll, Seeds, and Searching, which premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Borrowdale studied film scoring at the University of Southern California. He is from Sacramento and currently resides in Los Angeles.
