Based on the award-winning novels by Isaac Asimov, Foundation chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilization amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. TV-14 | 69min
Bear McCreary began his career as one of the last protégés of film music legend Elmer Bernstein and has since become a critically acclaimed composer of film, television, and video game scores, recognized for his creativity and musical innovation. Celebrated for his work on the reimagined Battlestar Galactica television series, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as the wildly popular Outlander and The Walking Dead, he also scored the 2018 PlayStation video game God of War, for which he won the BAFTA award. McCreary is currently working on its highly-anticipated sequel, God of War: Ragnarök. Other project highlights include the critically acclaimed 10 Cloverfield Lane for producer JJ Abrams, Blumhouse’s hit Happy Death Day, the global blockbuster film Godzilla: King of the Monsters, the recently released Call of Duty: Vanguard, Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, Kevin Smith’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, and the Academy Award-nominated documentary Crip Camp for executive producers Barack and Michelle Obama.
McCreary has enjoyed multiple Emmy nominations and won an Emmy for the Main Title Theme of Da Vinci’s Demons, a carefully-constructed palindrome evoking musical homage to Da Vinci’s own writings. He plays piano, accordion, and hurdy-gurdy, and in his spare time enjoys sharing the classic movies he grew up on with his seven-year-old daughter, Sonatine.
