Meet the nominees for the 5th Annual SCL Awards in the Interactive Media category as Jack D. Elliot chats with Stephen Barton & Gordy Haab (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor), Winifred Phillips (Secrets of Skeifa Island), Pinar Toprak (Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora), and Austin Wintory (Stray Gods). The panelists will talk about working on their respective projects, share insights on their workflow, talk about their compositional techniques, and discuss how to be cognizant of the limitless possibilities in video games, and how to create a unique score that effectively create an innovative sonic identity for games. They will also talk about the importance of award shows and why composers should submit and be recognized.
