Join us for an evening with composer Ruth Barrett exploring the craft of composing for film and television. Through discussion and examples from her work, we will examine Ruth’s approach to musical storytelling and how she creates unique sound worlds through bold choices in orchestration, production and various musical devices. The conversation will also explore collaboration and the practical realities of working in the industry in the UK and internationally, offering insights for composers at every stage of their careers.
