A young New York mother faced with sudden doubts about her marriage teams up with her larger-than-life playboy father to tail her husband. What follows is a sparkling comic adventure across the city – drawing father and daughter closer together, despite one detour after another. Acclaimed filmmaker Sofia Coppola brings a light touch to this blend of an exuberant love letter to New York, a generation-clash comedy about how we see relationships differently from our parents, and a funny celebration of the complications that bind modern families even as they tie us in crazy knots.  R | 96min

Phoenix is a critically-acclaimed band from France, comprising Thomas Mars (vocals, drums), Deck d’Arcy (bass, keyboards), Laurent Brancowitz (guitar, keyboards) and Christian Mazzalai (guitar). Born out of high school friendships in Versailles, Phoenix have been nominated twice for Grammy awards, winning “Best Alternative Album” in 2010 for Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.  They also won “Best Rock Album” in 2014 for Bankrupt! at the French Victoires de La Musique. The band headlined the Coachella and Rock en Seine festivals in 2013, Governors Ball in 2017, sold-out New York’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl, and played festivals from Glastonbury (UK) to Vieilles Charrues (FR) to Summer Sonic (JPN) and more around the globe.

Known for their sleek, highly stylized sonics and infectious melodies, Phoenix have released six celebrated, brilliant albums, the most recent being 2017’s Ti Amo.
