Five-time Emmy-nominated composer Nathan Barr has received critical acclaim for his unmatched versatility, incorporating eclectic instruments from musical cultures across the world into his scores. Barr recently earned three Emmy nominations, including one for “Outstanding Music Composition For A Limited Series” for Netflix’s Hollywood. Barr also earned two Emmy nominations for “Outstanding Main Title Theme Music” for Hollywood and Amazon Studios/Legendary Television’s hit fantasy period drama Carnival Row, after being the first person to achieve this a few years ago. He had previously earned two Emmy nominations for “Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music” in the same year for FX’s The Americans and Netflix’s Hemlock Grove. Barr’s hallmark adaptability has led him to score a diverse roster of some of television’s biggest shows including Hulu’s hit comedy-drama The Great; FX’s Emmy-winning drama Fosse/Verdon; HBO’s Emmy-winning and fan-favorite series, True Blood; Amazon’s acclaimed con-man drama Sneaky Pete; and AMC’s multi-generational western epic The Son.

Alongside his extensive career in television, Barr has scored more than 40 films including Blumhouse Productions’ The Hunt, directed by Craig Zobel; Miramax/Amazon Studios’ upcoming film Uncle Frank, written and directed by Alan Ball; Amblin Entertainment’s The Turning, directed by Floria Sigismondi; gore-horror master Eli Roth’s early cult-classics Cabin Fever and Hostel, and the hit Amblin/Universal Pictures family-horror film The House with a Clock in its Walls.

Barr performs many of the instruments heard in his compositions. He is known for his collection and inclusion of rare and unusual instruments from around the world, such as a human bone trumpet from Tibet, dismantled pianos, a rare Glass Armonica, and gourd cellos. The gem of his collection is a 3 manual, 19 rank Wurlitzer Theater Organ with 1,366 pipes. Originally built for Fox Studios in 1928, it can be heard in many classic films from The Day The Earth Stood Still to The Sound of Music.

Emmy Award-nominee Amanda Jones is rapidly becoming a standout voice amongst a new generation of television and film composers. Jones received her first Emmy nomination this year in the “Outstanding Music Composition For A Documentary Series or Special” for her score to the Apple TV+ documentary seriesHome. This nomination gives her the unique distinction of being the first African American woman nominated in the score category. Jones’ other credits include OWN’s anthology series Cherish the Day, produced by Ava DuVernay; BET’s Twenties, produced by Lena Waithe; and Sujata Day’s upcoming feature film,Definition Please, starring Levar Burton. Jones’ original music can also be heard on Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim’s Adult Swim comedy seriesBeef House, for which she wrote the main title theme; HBO’sA Black Lady Sketch Show, produced by Robin Thede and Issa Rae; and more. In addition to her television credits, Jones has experience scoring both short and feature films. Notable credits include Menelek Lumumba’s award-winning drama 1 Angry Black Man, Andre Hormann’s documentary featureRingside, which premiered at the 2019 Berlin International Film Festival; Smriti Mundhra and Sami Khan’s Oscar-nominated documentary shortSt. Louis Superman, and more.

Siddhartha Khosla is a two-time Emmy-nominated film and television composer, singer/songwriter, and producer of the critically acclaimed band, Goldspot. Khosla received Emmy nominations in 2020 for “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics” for his original song “Memorized” (shared with Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith) and in 2019 for “Outstanding Music Composition For a Series” for his work on NBC’s Golden Globe and Emmy-winning drama series, This Is Us. Khosla has the distinction of being the first South Asian person to be nominated in the Primetime Emmy score and song categories. After playing in a hugely powerful montage to end the episode, “Memorized” skyrocketed to the #1 spot on the Billboard soundtrack song charts and #13 overall. Khosla also co-composed the hit song, “We Can Always Come Back To This” for the show, which ranked #12 overall, and #1 in the Billboard Blues charts for four consecutive weeks. His original songs “Invisible Ink” and “We Can Always Come Back To This” also earned Guild of Music Supervisors Award nominations for “Best Song/Recording for Television.” Khosla’s other credits include Marvel’s Runaways, Hulu’sLooking for Alaska, Disney + series’Love, Victor, Netflix’s hip-hop-themed featureBeats, and more.

Taylor Goldsmith is the lead singer/songwriter for the band Dawes. Taylor’s work has been widely recognized for his excellent story-telling and honest lyrics. Esquire Magazine called Goldsmith “The best young songwriter in America” and says of his songs “these are songs that don’t just speak for themselves but accomplish something far rarer – they speak for us.” Goldsmith draws influence from Bonnie “Prince” Billy, Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Warren Zevon, and Jackson Browne, who Dawes have had the pleasure of playing with and who has called Taylor a “brilliant songwriter.” Taylor and co-writer Sidd Khosla recently received an Emmy nomination for “Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics” for their song “Memorized” from the NBC show This Is Us.

Blake Stadnik is most well known for his role as Jack Damon on NBC’s This Is Us. Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Stadnik discovered acting after he lost the majority of his eyesight due to Stargardt’s Disease. After receiving his BFA in Musical Theatre from Penn State University, he had a successful theatre career appearing in Sweeney Todd, Les Miserables, Newsies, and 42nd Street. As an actor with a disability, Stadnik advocates for all disabled artists.
