Explore the world of the contemporary harp with Alexander Boldachev and his Delta Harp – writing and performing music from classical and film music to rock.

Alexander Boldachev is one of the most sought-after harpists worldwide. He has expanded the world of harp literature, and crossed many borders that had been considered beyond the technical possibilities of the instrument. He was born in 1990 and began as a young prodigy in his home of St. Petersburg, Russia. For the following 25 years he has been performing on the instrument that found him, the harp. Alexander studied in Paris under Catherine Michel, and he is a graduate of the Zurich Academy of Arts with an emphasis on the harp, piano, conducting, and composition. He is a guest artist of the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, an official artist of Salvi harps in Italy, and a frequent participant of many festivals including Burning Man, D&G Alta Moda, Spoleto, and the Sony Music Festival.

Recently, he has become the founder of his own music festival in Zurich, Switzerland, and the producer of the Golden Harp Competition in Russia. With multiple recordings to his name, he is considered a master musician and teacher.
A busy 2018-2019 had him completing a 23 country tour. He was a featured soloist on the world stage, and performed with Robbie Williams and Aida Garifullina at the opening ceremonies of the FIFA World Cup in Moscow, Russia.
