It’s such an interesting time to be a media composer. The landscape for what defines a “score” has never been more diverse, both in the filmmakers, and in the wide array of musical approaches that composers and songwriters are taking. Projects like ChernobylBirdmanPoor ThingsRaffertie, and The Zone of Interest are breaking conventions and pushing the limits of what music for media can sound like. Join us for an exciting panel of in-demand New York-based composers, music editors, and music supervisors as we discuss what it means to create music for media in 2025.
