[World IP Day] The Journey of Music: From the Human Heart to the Human Ear!
April 29 @ 7:30 am – 9:30 am PDT

The Copyright Alliance will co-host an in-person World IP Day panel in keeping with the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) 2025 theme, IP and Music: Feel the Beat of IP. In collaboration with our co-hosts, we will hold an in-person panel titled The Journey of Music: From the Human Heart to the Human Ear. Our panel will take attendees through “how creativity and innovation, supported by intellectual property (IP) rights, keep music pulsing through our everyday lives.” It will also enable attendees to understand how music is created and how it is then transmitted to listeners across the world. This event will be free and open to the public, but attendees must RSVP in advance.
