Writing Songs for a Brief

Writing a song for a specific scene or a movie in general is different than writing a song for yourself as an artist, or for another artist’s album.

In this seminar we will talk about those differences, how to start writing for a brief, the scoring aspect, how the song works “with picture,” how this affects the arrangement and mix, and how to deal and incorporate revision notes from directors and producers.
