Guy Moon

It is with deep sadness and a profound sense of loss that we mark the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Guy Moon.

A prolific composer and songwriter, Guy was greatly respected for his contributions to animated television and film. A four-time Emmy® nominee and Annie Award winner, he became a defining musical voice for a generation through his long-standing work with Nickelodeon, most notably across the full 10-season run of The Fairly OddParents. His music blended humor, heart, and unforgettable melodies that brought beloved characters to life.

Guy lent his talents to a wide range of animated series, including Danny Phantom, T.U.F.F. Puppy, Bunsen Is a Beast, SpongeBob SquarePants, ChalkZone, Johnny Test, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, Ying Yang Yo, Back at the Barnyard, Cow and Chicken, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. He also composed the iconic theme for Danny Phantom and served as the composer for The Jimmy Timmy Power Hour television movie and its follow-up specials.

Beyond animation, Guy composed music for the hit TV series Big Time Rush (and the accompanying Big Time Movie), feature films including The Brady Bunch Movie, A Very Brady Sequel, and The Crash, and contributed to soundtracks for major motion pictures such as Minority Report, Fight Club, and Mystic Pizza. His career reflected creative versatility and a deep love for storytelling through music.

Rest in peace, Guy. Your music will continue to bring joy, laughter, and inspiration to audiences and fellow music creators for generations to come.
