Inaugural SCL Jury Award Recipients Announced

The recipients for the inaugural SCL Jury Award have been announced and will be presented at the 4th SCL Awards on February 15th in Los Angeles, California.

The works, chosen by the SCL Board of Directors, include the opera Omar (Rhiannon Giddens and Michael Abels) and the conceptual audiovisual concert experience Woman Warriors – The Voices of Change (Nathalie Bonin, Miriam Cutler, Anne-Kathrin Dern, Isolde Fair, Sharon Farber, Penka Kouneva, Starr Parodi, Lolita Ritmanis, Amy Andersson).

The SCL Jury Award is intended for those projects of outstanding achievement that do not conform to the requirements of the competitive categories of the SCL Awards. This inaugural Jury Award covers the eligible years since the SCL Awards began in 2020.
