Leonard Bernstein and Pete Carpenter Inducted into SCL Hall of Fame

At the 2023 SCL Los Angeles Holiday Dinnner, Leonard Bernstein and Pete Carpenter were inducted into the Society of Composers & Lyricists Hall of Fame for their contributions to the world of music.

Leonard Bernstein’s award was accepted by daughter Jamie Bernstein, who shared the appreciation the legendary composer had for lyricists – specifically West Side Story lyricist Stephen Sondheim.

Pete Carpenter’s award was accepted by Pete Carpenter, Jr. and the segment also included a special message from Carpenter’s longtime collaborator and SCL Ambassador Mike Post.
