Nicholas Britell Wins Outstanding Original Score for a Television Production at 5th SCL Awards

Nicholas Britell’s score for the final season of Succession was awarded Outstanding Original Score for a Television Production at the 5th SCL Awards on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 by the voting members of the Society of Composers & Lyricists. The award was presented by legendary composer for television, Bruce Miller.

Britell was unable to attend the ceremony in person, but sent a video graciously thanking the voting members of the SCL and his team of supporters, as well as dedicating the award to his late father.

This is Britell’s second SCL Award win and seventh nomination. He was previously nominated for Succession (1st & 3rd SCL Awards), Don’t Look Up (3rd SCL Awards), “Just Look Up” from Don’t Look Up** (3rd SCL Awards), Andor (4th SCL Awards), and “Slip Away” from Carmen (5th SCL Awards).
