An Interview with Ennio Morricone

Share

Jon Burlingame conducts a rare interview and discussion with Ennio Morricone, who has scored nearly 400 motion pictures and has been nominated for four Academy Awards (BUGSY, THE UNTOUCHABLES, THE MISSION, CINEMA PARADISO).

This seminar was filmed following a screening of the composer’s film MALENA, which was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Score, and marked the re-teaming of Morricone with director Giuseppe Tornatore. Morricone previously scored the director’s Oscar-winning CINEMA PARADISO, and composed the jazz score for the recent film THE LEGEND OF 1900.
