Join us on for an in-depth look at the premier sampling platform in the composing world today, Native Instruments’ Kontakt is part of nearly every composer’s modern rig, and with thousands of sample libraries available, it offers an unprecedented variety of sonic possibilities for all kinds of music genres, from orchestral to electronic and everything in between.

Veteran composer and Kontakt user David Das will outlay Kontakt’s interface, showing how Kontakt is used in practical, real-world composer setups, then delve into Instrument Edit mode, showing how instruments are put together and how you can create your own instruments or tweak existing instruments. He will also focus on advanced composer needs, such as building templates, integration with Vienna Ensemble Pro, working with major third-party libraries and designing large multi-computer Kontakt setups.
