Allison Wright Clark is a music executive, music supervisor, producer, and educator who’s crafted the musical direction of entertainment, games, and branding for decades. She’s a “walking” studio music department collaborating with Oscar®, Emmy®, and Grammy® award-winning composers and other world-renowned music creators.

Notable projects include Vicious, Arcane: League of Legends, Honor of Kings, Dungeons and Dragons, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, 1992, The Comeback Trail, Good Mourning, Def Jam: Icon, Magic: The Gathering, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Andromeda Strain, Ultraviolet, Watching The Detectives, Shoot ‘Em Up, Crank, and The Good Wife.

Her musical branding expertise has led to collaborations with clients such as Nike, Coca-Cola, Mercedes, VW, Miller Brewing, Land Rover, Lincoln, BMW, United Airlines, Tag Heuer, Mountain Dew, Skechers, and UGGs, to name a few.

Amy Ward is an award-winning songwriter for visual media, vocalist, and producer based in Kansas City. Her music has been featured in hundreds of placements across film, television, advertising, and video games. Her song “Take Flight” from the animated feature A Tooth Fairy Tale was recognized as a GRAMMY® contender in two categories — Song Written for Visual Media and Song of the Year — as well as an SCL Award® contender from the Society of Composers & Lyricists.

Amy’s songwriting credits span film, television, documentaries, and interactive media, including A California Christmas: City Lights (Netflix), The Wedding Date, Sunshine Cleaning, Always at The Carlyle, NCIS, General Hospital, Say Yes to the Dress, and The Young and the Restless, where her music has appeared in more than 170 episodes.

A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Amy specializes in crafting emotionally driven songs that elevate visual storytelling. She has also performed the National Anthem at iconic venues including Madison Square Garden, Shea Stadium (home of the New York Mets), Kauffman Stadium, Children’s Mercy Park (home of Sporting Kansas City), and T-Mobile Center.

Amy is a member of The Recording Academy, Berklee Alumni, and IFCKC, and serves as a mentor through the Berklee Alumni Network and The Recording Academy, supporting emerging songwriters and creators. Her work has received recognition from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, New York Songwriters Circle Awards, and NJPAC.

Angela Lauer is an Emmy®-nominated songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. The youngest daughter of famed country songwriter Ben Peters (Charley Pride, Brenda Lee, Kenny Rogers), Lauer’s childhood was richly steeped in performance, music, and lyrics.

Lauer’s ethereal, hook-laden music has appeared in countless television shows and films including Nashville, Tell Me A Story, Teen Mom, The Runaways, Siesta Key, All My Children, Good Trouble, Love Club, Siesta Key, The Kardashians, and Selling Sunset and has also served as the backdrop for notable brand campaigns such as Tiffany’s, Target, Nordstrom, Windows 8, Toyota’s partnership with The Voice, and NFL MyCause with Patrick Mahomes. In addition to producing her own music, Lauer is a frequent collaborator in several sync projects, including Bien (Secret Road) alongside her husband, Tim, and Jessie Early.

Emmy® award-winner, Ashley Irwin, has written music for over 1,000 hours of film and television, and more than 3,000 commercials. He relocated from his native Australia to the U.S.A. in 1990 after a successful career in theatre, records, advertising and television.

He began his endless quest to understand the complexities of music licensing and associated contracts, as the in-house producer and A&R manager for an independent record label in Sydney, started his first publishing company in 1989 and currently maintains publishing entities at ASCAP, BMI and APRA.

In 1998 he was awarded Best Feature Film Score by the Australian Guild of Screen Composers for his score to the restored silent classic The White Hell of Piz Palü and the following year commissioned by the British Film Archives to write a new score to Alfred Hitchcock’s silent classic The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog, in honor of the great director’s 100th anniversary. Both these films continue to be performed in film-live concerts throughout the world.

In 2006, Ashley received a G.A.N.G. award for EA’s The Godfather video game, based on the Academy Award-winning film.

Well known for his collaborations with Oscar® winners Clint Eastwood and Bill Conti, Ashley has arranged and composed music for 22 Academy Awards shows several Emmys® and Grammys®, as well a slew of other TV variety shows. He was Musical Director for the inaugural Screen Actors Guild Awards and for the American Giving Awards, both for NBC.

In 2015 Ashley recreated the songs of Peter Allen for the mini-series Peter Allen: Not the Boy Next Door and was nominated for both AACTA and APRA-AMCOSawards. 

He is an official APRA-AMCOS Ambassador, is co-chair of Music Creators North America, and has been president of the Society of Composers & Lyricists for the past 11 years where he is currently in his 6th 2-year term.

Austin Wintory is known for the curiosity and exploration that have been at the core of his career. In total, Austin has garnered 2 BAFTA® Awards (among 7 nominations), a historic first-ever video game soundtrack Grammy® nomination (plus 2 additional nominations), an Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences DICE award (among 3 other nominations), 19 Game Audio Network Guild awards (among 45 nominations), 2 ASCAP Composer Choice awards (among 7 nominations) and 3 nominations from the Society of Composers and Lyricists. Known principally for his work in video games, his music can be heard in a wide range of titles, from the critically acclaimed innovators (Journey, ABZÛ, Stray Gods, and The Banner Saga) to AAA blockbusters (Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Aliens Fireteam Elite, LEGO Fortnite, and Towerborne).

After nearly a decade scoring independent films and games, Austin’s career took a leap forward on the back of thatgamecompany’s hit PS3 title, Journey. The soundtrack album debuted on the Billboard charts higher than any prior game’s original score, and in December 2012, became the first game score ever nominated for a Grammy. On the heels of Journey, subsequent game scores of Austin’s include The Banner Saga trilogy; Giant Squid’s debut title ABZÛ and its followup, The Pathless; Ubisoft’s Victorian-era Assassin’s Creed Syndicate; the innovative FMV game Erica; the co-op squad shooter ALIENS: Fireteam Elite; Pocketwatch Games’ indie darlings Monaco and Tooth and Tail; the remake of the infamous 80s romp Leisure Suit Larry: Reloaded; Mike Bithell’s strategy/action John Wick Hex, Epic Games’ open world LEGO Fortnite; EA’s mobile reimagination of the 90s RTS classic Command & Conquer: Rivals; and Sloclap’s stylized martial arts debut Absolver. Austin most notably wrote one of League of Legends’ most popular champion themes, “Volibear: The Relentless Storm.”

In 2024, Austin re-teamed with Supergiant Games’ composer Darren Korb and contributed orchestral music to the forthcoming Hades 2, amongst multiple other upcoming releases: Giant Squid’s Sword of the Sea, Yellow Brick Games’ Eternal Strands, Stoic Studio’s Towerborne, and Pocketwatch Games’ Monaco 2.

In the world of film, Austin has scored over 60 features including multiple indie hits: Captain Abu Raed (2008 Sundance winner), Grace (2009 Sundance hit, starring Jordan Ladd), The Last Movie Star (Burt Reynolds’ final film), A Little Help (the leading role debut of The Office’s Jenna Fischer), Bullet Head (starring Adrien Brody, John Malkovich and Antonio Banderas), several acclaimed documentaries such as Tread and the EMMY-nominated Chowchilla (CNN films), and the continuous-take action films One Shot and One More Shot (directed by James Nunn, starring Scott Adkins). His TV work includes the Netflix international hit Thai Cave Rescue and Amazon’s Big Dogs. Most recently, Austin scored Clark Baker’s 80s horror Test Screening, and Michael Russell Gunn’s political drama Reykjavik (starring Jeff Daniels, JK Simmons, and Jared Harris).

Ben Johnson is a Grammy®-winning singer-songwriter/producer living in Nashville, TN. Johnson’s first cut was Charlie Puth’s “Patient” which launched his career that now includes cuts with notable artists like Morgan Wallen, Justin Timberlake, Jelly Roll, BigxthaPlug, Bailey Zimmerman, Dierks Bentley, John Legend, Ava Max, Thomas Rhett, Kane Brown, HARDY, Weezer, Dasha, and more. Johnson has written 12 #1 songs, including “One of Them Girls,” which set a record as the first song to ever win Song of the Year at all 3 PROs. Other songs include “Truck Bed,” “Give Heaven Some Hell,” “Gone,” “Take My Name,” “All My Favorite Songs,” and most recently “All the Way,” which debuted at #4 on the Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard Hot Country Songs.

Brent McCorkle is an award-winning filmmaker, writer, director, and composer whose work has spanned independent film and major studio productions. His feature directorial debut, Unconditional, earned an NAACP Image Award nomination, while later collaborations on films including I Can Only Imagine and Jesus Revolution reached millions of viewers worldwide. Earlier in his career, an award-winning short film caught the attention of Steven Spielberg, leading to a first-look deal with DreamWorks and Fox Television. Brent’s work has been featured by Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, and MovieMaker.

Today, Brent’s creative interests extend beyond filmmaking into the intersection of story, psychology, spirituality, and human transformation. Drawing from decades of experience as a storyteller, he explores the ways myth, consciousness, self-inquiry, and authentic connection shape the human experience. Whether behind a camera, composing music, or guiding meaningful conversations, his work is rooted in one enduring belief: that the stories we tell—and the courage to tell the truth about ourselves—can become catalysts for healing, love, and profound change.

Carter Burwell has composed the music for 100 feature films, including Blood Simple, Raising Arizona, Miller's Crossing, Barton Fink, The Hudsucker Proxy, Rob Roy, Fargo, Gods and Monsters, Velvet Goldmine, Three Kings, Being John Malkovich, O Brother, Where Art Thou? (BAFTA® nomination), Before Night Falls, A Knight’s Tale, Adaptation, No Country for Old Men, In Bruges, Twilight, Where the Wild Things Are (Golden Globe® nomination), A Serious Man, The Blind Side, True Grit, Anomalisa (2016 World Soundtrack Award Best Song), Hail, Caesar!, Carol (2015 Oscar® and Golden Globe nominations), The Founder, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017 Oscar and Golden Globe nominations), The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (2019 Oscar shortlist for Best Score), The Tragedy of Macbeth (2021 Oscar shortlist for Best Score), and The Banshees of Inisherin (2022 Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations).

Upcoming projects include Wild Horse Nine, directed by Martin McDonagh, and Jack of Spades, directed by Joel Coen.

For television, Burwell wrote the music for the first three seasons of Apple’s series The Morning Show. In 2011 he scored Todd Haynes’ HBO miniseries Mildred Pierce, for which he won an Emmy. 

In 2005 he developed a concert work for text and music titled Theater of the New Ear, presented in New York, London, and Los Angeles. The text, by Joel and Ethan Coen and Charlie Kaufman, was performed by a dozen actors including Meryl Streep, Steve Buscemi, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Hope Davis, Peter Dinklage, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The music was composed and conducted by Mr. Burwell. 

His writing includes the essays Music at Six: Scoring the News Then and Now, published in the inaugural issue of Esopus magazine in 2003 and reprinted in Harper's Magazine in 2004, No Country For Old Music in the 2013 Oxford Handbook of New Audiovisual Aesthetics, and How Nino Rota Saved Me from a Subterranean Freakout in Arcana IX, 2021.

Celeste Debro is a Music Supervisor for Creative Control and Tyler Perry Studios and a Talent Manager. She has worked on shows including Zatima, Young Dylan, Caught Up, and All the Queen’s Men. Her films include: Madea’s Destination Wedding, Mea Culpa, Find Me Falling, Divorce in the Black, and The Six Triple Eight.

She prides herself on being a strategist, advocate, curator, and problem solver for independent music artists. Celeste has inserted value and understanding into artists’ lives through strategic planning, self-discovery, creative and funding solutions that give them the knowledge and confidence to gain their own successes.

Charlie Sanders is an attorney and professor who is one of the entertainment industry’s leading international rights advocates for music creators. He currently serves as the longtime chairman of the National Music Council of the United States (the umbrella organization for American music rights and education groups) and as outside counsel to the Songwriters Guild of America. He is likewise a principal advisor to Music Creators North America, Fair Trade Music International, and the Native American Music Association. Sanders previously served as a copyright fellow at New York University School of Law, and has subsequently taught music history and law as an adjunct professor at NYU for over 25 years. He is also a former studio musician, a platinum and Emmy® award-winning producer and former Recording Academy/Grammy NY board member, and the former chair of the music community’s leading social outreach charity, WhyHunger.  

From 1986 to 2004, Sanders served as counsel to the US National Music Publishers Association, during which time he oversaw the distribution of over $4 billion in royalties.  Finally, Sanders is one of the world’s leading ski mountaineers (having completed downhill ski descents on all seven continents, including Antarctica, the Arctic, and the Himalayas), and now serves as chairman of the US Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.

Christopher Farrell is an award-winning composer who has scored original music for over forty-five film and television projects. At home with any musical style, his versatility and cinematic sensibility keep him in demand for scoring action, comedy, horror, drama, and romance projects. Chris has been a long-time member of the SCL and is a strong supporter of education, music rights, and promoting the value of media music within the entertainment community.

Chris Gentle has scored over 100 short-form projects of all genres and four feature films since undergrad, forging treasured personal and professional relationships across the film and music industries.

As a native Nashvillian, Chris would love to see more robust opportunities for filmmakers, game developers, and content creators to meet—not just musicians—but composers and narrative storytellers who understand the language of these different artistic mediums. The infrastructure and talent that lives here has the potential to make Nashville a one-stop destination for every aspect of film, TV, and game scoring. 

Chris believes the SCL has the tools and the reach to accomplish that and much more for Nashville and the artists who call it home. It is his privilege as a member of the SCL Nashville Steering Committee to help achieve this vision.

Cris Velasco is one of the most sought-after composers working today in media, scoring some of video games' biggest franchises, including God of War, Mass Effect, Borderlands, Fortnite, and Overwatch. He has maintained an active career in the game industry with over a hundred other original scores, such as Bloodborne, Resident Evil, The Long Dark, Assassin’s Creed, Company of Heroes 2, and Darksiders. He has also worked extensively in VR with award-winning titles like Star Wars: Vader Immortal and The Invisible Hours.

Cris is also a passionate art collector and has curated a number of dark and surreal art exhibits around the country, including a solo show for Clive Barker called Wunderkammer and a tribute show to H.P. Lovecraft called From the Depths. Cris’ artistic involvement with Clive turned into a number of collaborations as well when he scored Clive Barker’s Jericho and an animated project for Books of Blood.

Velasco regularly brings his skills as a multi-instrumentalist to his music. As an award-winning classical guitarist, he also has a studio full of other interesting stringed instruments like GuitarViol, morin khuur, shamisen, charango, and marimacho. They can all be frequently heard as a backdrop to many of his scores, adding a unique tone to his orchestral palette. 

Cris’ music is also regularly performed by symphony orchestras around the world. He has received numerous awards and accolades, including “Outstanding Achievement in Original Composition” from the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, IGN’s People's Choice Award - Best Music, NBC News’ Award for Best Video Game Music, and multiple nominations for Best Original Music from BAFTA®.

Dan Haseltine is a film/television composer, songwriter, and children's book author. He is the founding member and primary songwriter of the award-winning band Jars of Clay, as well as The Hawk in Paris and The River Cryers. He has received six Grammy® nominations, three Grammy Awards, and was the recipient of the Grammy Honors Award for Artist Impact. He is the composer of the multiple award-winning television series The Chosen and films such as The Shift, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Sons of Lwala documentary, and For the Life of the World. 

Danny Lux is an Emmy®-nominated composer whose work has shaped the musical identity of more than 2,300 episodes of television and numerous feature films. A native of Los Angeles who recently relocated to Nashville, Lux has composed memorable scores for acclaimed series including Grey’s Anatomy, Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, Manifest, and My Name Is Earl, as well as the feature film Halloween: Resurrection.

He launched his career under the mentorship of legendary composer Mike Post, earning early credits on Silk Stalkings, News Radio, and NYPD Blue. His distinctive style—marked by emotional depth and sonic versatility—has earned him multiple BMI Film & TV Awards and dozens of SESAC TV Awards, recognizing his enduring contributions to the television industry.

Renowned for blending traditional instrumentation with modern sound design, Lux continues to bring a fresh, cinematic voice to both network and streaming productions from his new home base in Nashville.

Dave Porter is a Los Angeles–based composer for film and television. He began his classical musical training on piano at age five, but it was his interest in electronic music as a teenager that led him to begin composing his own work. He studied both classical and electronic music composition at Sarah Lawrence College under John Yannelli and began his professional career as an assistant in Philip Glass’ recording studio in New York City.

Porter is perhaps best known for his enduring creative partnership with one of Hollywood’s most respected storytellers, Vince Gilligan. Beginning with the remarkable pilot episode of Breaking Bad in 2007, Porter has written the original music for all of Gilligan’s projects. He scored all 62 episodes of the groundbreaking series and created its iconic opening theme. Actor and producer Bryan Cranston noted, “With his music, Dave Porter has created another character for Breaking Bad. Evocative and meaningful, Dave’s work is an essential part of the storytelling.”

Porter also composed the original music for the critically acclaimed spin-off Better Call Saul and brought the Breaking Bad universe to the big screen with his score for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. Porter has since reunited with Gilligan to score Apple TV+’s mysterious hit series Pluribus. His work earned him three Emmy® nominations in the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music, Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score), and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour) categories, along with SCL Award® nominations for Outstanding Original Title Sequence for a Television Production and Outstanding Original Score for a Television Production.

Additional credits include Marvel Studio's Echo and James Franco’s The Disaster Artist. Porter also collaborated with creator and showrunner Rebecca Cutter on the Starz series Hightown, scored AMC’s boundary-pushing Preacher, produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Sam Catlin, and scored more than 200 episodes of The Blacklist, one of the most successful television dramas of all time.

Porter has received ASCAP’s Composer’s Choice Award for Best Television Composer three times - first in 2013 at the award’s inaugural event, and again in 2017, and most recently in 2026. He was also honored with the 2019 Citation Award from his alma mater, Sarah Lawrence College, in recognition of his creative achievements.

David Das is a Grammy®-nominated composer and music producer based in Los Angeles. His experience covers the range from feature films, TV shows, cartoons, commercials, trailers, and other media work, over to modern music production, choral and orchestral writing/arranging, and more. He has worked on projects for Lionsgate, Fox, Disney, DirecTV, Dreamworks, Fremantle, Intel, BBDO, HBO, PBS, TLC, Telemundo, Weight Watchers, Coca Cola, Hal Leonard, and many others. He has composed music for dozens of TV shows, scored films (such as Lionsgate’s feature thriller The Appearing and the human trafficking drama Trafficked), worked on music teams (Jordan Peele's US, HBO's Allen v. Farrow, both with composer Michael Abels), and written and produced songs for numerous pop, rock, R&B, soul, and musical theatre artists (including Aaron Lazar's star-studded Impossible Dream). He serves as Vice President of the Society of Composers & Lyricists and Past President of the Academy of Scoring Arts.

With a background in pop and jazz but schooled in the classical tradition, David has lived and studied all over the world, including the U.S., England, Italy, and Singapore. He studied classical piano and conducting at the University of North Texas, and during that time was a member of the award-winning Jazz Singers. Later seasons in Nashville and Los Angeles brought opportunities to tour, arrange, and produce for such diverse artists as vocal superstar Josh Groban, Grammy-winning singer Rebecca St. James, American Idol Katharine McPhee, Rachael Yamagata, Mark Ballas, Israel Houghton, Ginny Owens, Tori Kelly, and many others. His television writing includes theme music for Nick Jr’s Parental Discretion, Supreme Justice with Judge Karen, The Young Icons, and additional music for dozens of shows ranging from the animated Dreamworks series VeggieTales in the House, American Idol, Amish Mafia, FOX Football Daily, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, HBO’s Homeland, Pawn Stars, Say Yes to the Dress, The Sing-Off, So You Think You Can Dance, and many more. He has done sound design work for Big Fish Audio, PSP Audioware, MOTU, and Native Instruments. In addition to being a Grammy nominee, his music has hit the top 10 charts on TikTok, and has been part of projects receiving a Global Entertainment Marketing Academy (GEMA/ProMax) Gold and Bronze award, a Heartland Emmy nomination, and the Cleo Award shortlist.

David Grow is a Grammy®-nominated songwriter and producer/composer who has scored over 800 spots for many of the biggest brands in the world. David has been a pianist since he was a teenager in Michigan, playing the piano and singing in several groups. Moving to Los Angeles, Grow took up acting for a few years, appearing on television in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine among other shows. Eventually he came back to music, writing commercial music for TV spots and moving into producing. After working on albums with Michael W. Smith, Carly Simon, and All 4 One, Grow made the decision to work on his own music. Releasing the single "Well" to a positive reaction, he recorded his own album in 2001 entitled Standing Tall for 2K Records.

In 1999, David co-founded Howling Music with Kim Pawlik and Brad Colerick, launching a music production company specializing in original music for television commercials, film, and emerging media. Since its inception, Howling Music has provided music for hundreds of national and international commercial spots for many of the world's leading advertising agencies and brands, including Nike, BMW, Chevy, Coke, Toyota, Hyundai, Colgate, Mercedes, Volkswagen, ESPN, and Kia. The company's music has also been featured in numerous television shows and films, and it expanded its catalog with the launch of the production music libraries Retrorama in 2023 and Ad-Attack in 2024.

Dominic Lewis is a British-born composer with sensational talents that have catapulted him to the forefront of music in television and film. Following his move from England to the United States, he joined John Powell in composing for the 2011 Oscar®-nominated film, How to Train Your Dragon. He has since worked with some of Hollywood’s most renowned composers, including Henry Jackman and Hans Zimmer. Lewis recently received his first Emmy® nomination for the main title theme of Apple TV+’s Your Friends and Neighbors.

Lewis’s credits include Timo Tjahjanto’s Nobody 2; Jonathan Entwistle’s Karate Kid: Legends; Apple TV+’s Dope Thief and Your Friends and Neighbors; David Leitch’s The Fall Guy and Bullet Train; Netflix’s Kaleidoscope; Tommy Wirkola’s Violent Night; Sean Anders' Spirited; Ridley Scott-produced Emmy-winning series The Man in the High Castle; Disney’s The King’s Man; Peter Rabbit; Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway; and many more.

Lewis's upcoming projects include 87North Productions’ How To Rob A Bank, directed by David Leitch, as well as Jason Statham Stole My Bike, also directed by David Leitch; Tommy Wirkola's Violent Night 2; and Season 3 of Your Friends and Neighbors on Apple TV+.

Eddie Schwartz is best known for writing such classic hit songs as “Hit Me With Your Best Shot” recorded by Pat Benatar, “Don’t Shed A Tear” by Paul Carrack, and “The Doctor” by the Doobie Brothers, as well as some two hundred songs recorded and performed by artists such as Joe Cocker, Carly Simon, Robert Palmer, America, Jeffrey Osborne, Donna Summer, Rita Coolidge, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts and Mountain – among others.

As a record producer, he has enjoyed success with numerous projects, including the Doobie Brothers’ “Cycles” album, Paul Carrack’s “Groove Approved,” Rita Coolidge’s “Fire Me Back,” as well as his own recordings as an artist. Worldwide physical sales before the streaming era were well in excess of 65 million units, and that remarkable popularity of many of his songs continues on all formats to this day.

With roots in both the US and Canada, Eddie has won numerous JUNO, BMI, and SOCAN awards, including SOCAN’s prestigious Cultural Achievement award in 2020, and he was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2019.

Eddie has served as President of the Songwriters Association of Canada, Chair of Fair Trade Music International, and was elected to six consecutive terms on the SOCAN Board and Executive Committee before moving to Nashville in 1997, where he graduated from the renowned Leadership Music program in 2000. He currently serves as President of the International Council of Music Creators (CIAM) based in Paris, and President of Music Creators North America (MCNA).

In 2013, Eddie was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada.

Geoff Zanelli is an Emmy® Award-winning composer who is known for his versatile musical voice across film, television, and video games. His most recent projects include Netflix’s LEO, starring Adam Sandler; Gore Verbinski’s Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die; and the highly anticipated video game Star Citizen: Squadron 42. Throughout his career, Zanelli has composed for filmmakers including Verbinski, Ridley Scott, David Koepp, Peter Hedges and David Duchovny, and collaborated with producers and artists including Jerry Bruckheimer, Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Angelina Jolie and Tom Hanks.

Zanelli’s major film credits include Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Christopher Robin, and The Odd Life of Timothy Green, as well as The Intruder, Black and Blue, Disturbia, Hitman, Masterminds, Mortdecai and Secret Window, the latter co-written with Philip Glass. A longtime collaborator on the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, Zanelli also contributed music to the first four films alongside Hans Zimmer. His additional contributions span films including Justice League, The Lone Ranger, The Last Samurai, Pearl Harbor, Rango, Hannibal, Angels & Demons, Chicken Run and Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.

In 2006, Zanelli won an Emmy for his score to Steven Spielberg’s miniseries Into the West, becoming the youngest composer at the time to receive the award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, Movie or Special. He later earned a second Emmy nomination for Spielberg and HBO’s The Pacific. A Southern California native and Berklee College of Music graduate, Zanelli began his career working with Hans Zimmer at Remote Control Productions before establishing himself as a composer whose work blends genres, cultures, and musical traditions across an expansive range of storytelling.

Hannah Miller is an artist, songwriter, and producer based in Nashville, TN. Her work has been featured in film/TV (highlights include This Is Us, Pretty Little Liars, Virgin River, The Following, Station 19, Truth Be Told, Traitors UK, Sons of Anarchy, Little Women, Trash Fire, and national ad campaigns for Pitney Bowes, Honda, and DSW). She was nominated for a Guild of Music Supervisors Award in 2018 for her work on This Is Us and invited to perform at the awards show in LA. She also has had hundreds of placements globally through her work as a writer/producer with Warner Chappell Production Music and recently launched her own company, Better Together Music, that offers sync representation to a small roster of artists and consulting to artists on getting started in sync. She is the founder and facilitator of the Song Garden, a recurring songwriting workshop that exists to foster connection and community among independent artists. She serves on the steering committee for the Nashville Chapter of the Society of Composers and Lyricists, and when she is not writing and recording music, she is hanging with her husband, two kids, and their huge Lab/Pyrenees mix named Sweetie.

Jay Weigel is a Grammy®-winning composer/producer and distinguished conductor, arranger, orchestrator, and contractor for music in media and live events. With his locations in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and Nashville, Weigel’s scores and soundtracks can be heard in major studio films as well as documentaries and independent productions. Jay has collaborated as orchestrator, conductor, and contractor for George S. Clinton, Christopher Young, David Wingo, John Swihart, Christopher Lennertz, and Terence Blanchard. Recently, Jay arranged the works of Big Freedia and the Lost Bayou Ramblers for concerts with the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, and the recording garnered a 2024 Grammy. Jay’s musical direction and arrangement of  Paul Williams’ music was performed by singers Nella Rojas, Sam DeRosa, and Joshua Radin at the Guild of Music Supervisor’s Icon Award® presentation. Other career highlights include work with Pharrell Williams, PJ Morton, REM, Andra Day, Tank and the Bangas, Jon Cleary, Chris Thomas King, Juvenile, Keala Settle, and Judith Owen. Jay chairs The Society of Composers and Lyricists’ Nashville Chapter.

Jennifer Harmon is AVP for Film & TV/Visual Media Membership at ASCAP. She began her career at ASCAP as a member of both the Rhythm & Soul and Film & Television Membership teams, alternately taking calls from chart-topping songwriters and producers and film and TV composers. In her life before ASCAP, she worked in academic research. Now she applies her analytical background to researching domestic and international royalty questions for ASCAP members. She is also an inaugural member of the Advisory Board for the Composers Diversity Collective.

John DeFaria is a composer and songwriter who has had over 10,000 music placements in a wide range of media, including TV shows, documentaries, movies, animation, commercials, jingles, trailers, online promos, and streaming services. He began his musical career after graduating from the University of Miami Frost Studio Music and Jazz School.

John toured and recorded with Gloria and Emilio Estefan and The Miami Sound Machine for 8 years and co-wrote the song “Get on Your Feet” for which John won an ASCAP Pop Award for one of the most played songs of the year. John was also awarded a Golden Reel Award for a NatGeo documentary he scored and an ASCAP Screen Award for a theme he wrote for a top-rated animated series.

As a musician, John also toured with Kenny Loggins, Kitaro, Ambrosia, and Jon Anderson of Yes. He has recorded on numerous movie scores such as Holes, James Cameron’s Ghosts of the Abyss, and Uptown Girls; commercials for DirecTV and Subaru; and television shows for Lifetime, Discovery Channel, Warner Brothers Telepictures, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Through his association with composer Dean Grinsfelder, John wrote music for the PBS documentary series Ocean Adventures with Jean Michelle Cousteau, which was nominated for an Emmy Award® for Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft: Music and Sound. John also completed the score for the Warner Brothers movie The Dukes of Hazzard: The Beginning. John has also composed music for a wide range of Music Libraries, including: Audio Network, Megatrax, APM, Atomica Music Library, Sonoton, Pitch Hammer, and Mastersource.

Jon Pierre, known professionally as Deciius, is an award-winning composer, producer, and professor with over 20 years of experience creating original music for film, television, advertising, and video games. His signature style merges the emotional weight of orchestral scoring with the raw energy of hip hop, R&B, and electronic music—pulling listeners into stories with precision and power.

Based in Chicago, Deciius is the founder of Apex Music and Sound, a music house delivering custom scores and sound design for top-tier clients in the ad, film, TV, and game industries. 

Jonathan Grow is an award-winning composer working in film, television, and production music. You can hear his work in shows like Chopped, The Pit Stop, LOL, Love Transit, A Current Affair, NFL Total Access, and Relative Secrets. He sits on the SCL Nashville Steering Committee and serves as chair of SCL Nashville’s Seminars.

Jose Luis Revelo is a Grammy®-nominated composer, producer, and mix engineer with a 20-year career in music for media. His work includes iconic sonic identities for AT&T, Univision, and The American Cancer Society, countless national ad campaigns, and show themes and trailer scores for Netflix and others. 

His work extends beyond the studio to a successful career as a business developer and strategist for major US music production companies. His bicultural upbringing has also made him an essential Latino culture advisor to Fortune 500 companies, where he provides critical insight on communicating authentically with Latino communities through music. Today, Jose Luis leads sync and brand partnerships for the US Latin and Latin America markets at UnitedMasters, one of the biggest independent artist platforms with over 2 million members.

Kris Ahrend is the Chief Executive Officer of The MLC, where he leads the organization in its mission to ensure songwriters, composers, lyricists, and music publishers receive their mechanical royalties from streaming and download services in the U.S. accurately and on time. Under his direction, The MLC has achieved total royalties distributed of over $3 billion and grown membership to over 60,000 Members to date. In recognition of the organization’s impact under his leadership, The MLC received the Music Business Association’s 2024 Impact Award for Technological Excellence, honoring its innovative approach to solving challenges in the modern music industry. In 2025, the MLC was also named one of Fast Company’s World’s Most Innovative Companies, underscoring its continued commitment to technological and operational excellence.

Before joining The MLC, Kris served as the President of U.S. Shared Services for Warner Music Group (WMG), where he led the development and launch of WMG’s Center of Excellence for Shared Services in Nashville and oversaw the operations of fifteen different functional teams providing a variety of administrative, financial, and legal services to WMG’s U.S.-based publishing teams, record labels, and corporate divisions. Prior to launching the Center of Excellence, Ahrend served as the Head of Business & Legal Affairs for WMG’s catalog label, Rhino Records, in Los Angeles, and then led a large legal, financial, and administrative shared services organization within WMG that he helped to create.

Kris started working in the music industry in New York City, where he held positions in the Law Department at Sony Music and then the Business and Legal Affairs Department at Sony BMG Music Entertainment.

A graduate of Binghamton University in New York and the Washington & Lee School of Law, Kris began his legal career as a law clerk in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He then spent several years in private practice, working in the New York office of the international law firm Simpson Thacher.

Ahrend is a respected and recognized leader in the music industry. In 2021, he was named to Billboard magazine’s list of Change Agents, which honored leaders in the music community who led by both advocacy and example during the COVID-19 pandemic. He also received an Indie Spirit Award in 2021 from the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) in recognition of his contributions to the independent music publishing community. In 2022, Ahrend was named to Billboard magazine’s Power List, and in 2023, 2024, and 2025, he was named to Nashville Post’s In Charge annual list of the most influential people in the music industry.

Kris is a proud member of the Nashville business community, where he serves on the boards of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce and the Nashville Downtown Partnership and on the Executive Committee of the Recording Academy’s Entertainment Law Initiative. A lifelong musician, Ahrend resides in Nashville with his wife, Karen, and two sons. 

Kyle J. Baker has years of experience writing music for film, chamber ensembles, and school groups. Classical in heritage, but vernacular in vocabulary, his works have been premiered by The Nashville Philharmonic, Sonus Choir, and the Nashville Composers Collective, and performed at OZ Arts, The Kindling Arts festival, Rudy’s Jazz Room, and the Nashville Film Festival. The Nashville Scene’s classical critic has called him “thoughtful, daring, and lyrically gifted.” As an impresario, he has launched a number of projects and events, including Nashville’s Soundcrawl Festival, Creator’s Workday, and Avila Soul String Quintet. Born in Scotland and raised in St. Louis, Baker holds an M.Mus from Belmont University and makes his home in Nashville, TN, with his wife Joy and family.

Lauren Conklin is a composer known for her organic textures, emotional melodies, and lush strings. She began composing full-time in 2019 after landing her first feature film, As Real As You Make It, produced by American Pantheon (directed by Joseph Nelms), which is now streaming on Amazon. She has also scored feature films Abigail (American Pantheon/Joseph Nelms) and Life and Death (Chameleon Film Studios), as well as the winning short from Nashville’s 48 Hour Film Festival, An Immersive Guide to Pruning (Lux & Vayll). She was a featured composer in the 2023 LunART Festival and a member of the 2022-2023 SCL Mentor Program.

Lauren began her career as a touring strings and utility player and has performed at venues from the Royal Albert Concert Hall to the Grand Ole Opry and on television programs including The Colbert Show, the CMT Music Awards, and The Today Show. Her sound combines classical orchestration with world folk influences as she draws upon the musical cultures she visited and studied during her time touring internationally. In addition to scoring films, Lauren has arranged and recorded strings for artists such as Lukas Graham, Russel Dickerson, Kylie Morgan, Skylar Astin, Girl Named Tom, and New Hope Club.

Mark Evitts is an Emmy® award-winning American composer, songwriter, musician, and producer working across the television, film, and music industries. As the composer and songwriter for the Apple TV+ series Frog and Toad, based on the best-selling children’s book, Mark won Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for an Animated Program at the 3rd Annual Children’s and Family Emmy Awards.

His early career work as a road musician playing with country music artists led Mark to establish himself as a versatile songwriter and composer, with credits ranging from Nas' single "Brunch on Sundays” from the Grammy®-nominated album King's Disease II and The Game's single "Violence" to the Emmy-nominated “Voice In A Dream” from NBC’s TV series Smash.

Other projects he has contributed to as an arranger and musician include The Bachelor, Blood and Oil, and Nashville. He has also contributed additional music to the score of the Netflix feature Arlo the Alligator Boy and HBO Max’s Batwheels.

Mark graduated summa cum laude with both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Composition for Film and TV from Berklee College of Music. His love of comedy also inspired him to take various classes at Los Angeles’s The Groundlings Theatre.

Maureen Crowe is known for her exceptional creative and production work in film, television series, and musicals. She has worked for Walt Disney, Lionsgate, MGM, and Warner Brothers Studios and leveraged wide and deep relationships with major & independent labels, publishers, and management to deliver industry-leading results in music storytelling in media. As the first female President of the LA Chapter of the Recording Academy, she spearheaded the effort to secure voting rights and award status for music supervisors. In 2008, Maureen Crowe co-founded the Guild of Music Supervisors (GMS), the first and only organized advocacy for professional music supervisors. In just a few short years, the GMS has had an astounding impact securing both Grammy® and Emmy® Awards status of music supervisors, secured stories in top publications including The New York Times: Arts and Leisure, The Hollywood Reporter, Variety and Billboard, and establishing the annual the Annual Guild of Music Supervisor Awards which highlights the incredible impact music and music supervision have in every field of media.

Nami Melumad is an acclaimed Israeli-Dutch composer whose remarkable rise and versatile body of work have established her as one of the leading voices in contemporary film and television music. Based in Los Angeles, she has composed music for more than 150 film and television projects, collaborating with many of Hollywood's most celebrated filmmakers and studios.

Her recent work includes the Emmy®-nominated Pixar Animation Studios series Dream Productions, Tony Gilroy's Behemoth!, Lauren Miller Rogen's Babies, and the upcoming Pixar Animation Studios animated short Loving Dory.

Melumad is widely recognized for her groundbreaking work on the Star Trek franchise, serving as the composer for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, following her acclaimed score for Star Trek: Prodigy. Her other credits include Marvel Studios' Thor: Love and Thunder (co-composer), EA's VR title Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond, Columbia Pictures' An American Pickle, Netflix's The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window, the Academy Award®-winning documentary short Colette, Amazon MGM Studios' One Fast Move, Griffin in Summer, the Oscar-shortlisted The Ice Cream Man, and the Spanish thriller Estación Rocafort.

Her work has earned widespread recognition, including a Children's & Family Emmy Award nomination for Dream Productions, the Society of Composers & Lyricists' David Raksin Award for Emerging Talent, BMI and IFMCA honors, and membership in both the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Television Academy.

An alumna of the ASCAP Film Scoring Workshop, Melumad graduated with a degree in Scoring for Motion Pictures and Television from the University of Southern California. She also holds a B.A. in Multi-Style Composition from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.

Beyond composing, Melumad is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of composers. She serves on the boards of the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers (ASMAC) and the Alliance for Women Film Composers (AWFC), and is a trustee of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance. Through these roles, she has helped launch mentorship initiatives and champion the development of emerging composers.

Nina Ossoff is a multi-genre, global, and multi-platinum songwriter. Among her most notable releases are songs by Daughtry (including a #1 Billboard-charting multiplatinum record). Her single “Crashed” was used by the NCAA to open all football games, featured in a LEGO Bionicle series commercial, and has been repeatedly played at the Super Bowl. She has also written for Halestorm (her single “I Get Off” was a Top 10 Billboard rock song and reached Platinum status), The Temptations (her single “Hoops of Fire” became the 50th single of their 50th record), and Patti Austin (the single “Reach” reached #10 on the Billboard Jazz charts). “Reach” was also recorded by UK artist Judy Cheeks and reached #1 on the Billboard Dance Charts. Her songs have also been recorded by Irma Thomas, Hillary Duff, The Maine, Shinedown, Theory of a Deadman, Southside Johnny, Lizzie Carter, Love to Infinity, and Louise (single “All That Matters”).

Her television and film credits include songs featured in The Barbie Diaries, Center Stage, Miss Congeniality, Bring It On, Cadet Kelly, The Young and the Restless, All My Children, Barbershop, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, The Powerpuff Girls, and many others.

Recent releases include a new recording of “Crashed” on Daughtry’s 20 Years Unplugged album, as well as songs with Plush, Erich Bergen (Madam Secretary), Citizen Soldier, and Alyssa Trahan.

Paul Mills is a multi-award-winning composer and producer who has been creating music for over three decades. Among his 15 feature film scores are the critically acclaimed Woodlawn and the #1-rated inspirational film, War Room,  for which he won an ASCAP Screen Music Award in 2016.  Among Paul’s score production and mixing credits are No Address, The Forge, Unsung Hero, Jesus Revolution, Awake in the Dawn, and Overcomer.  He was named American Songwriter Magazine's Christian Producer of the Year and was the recipient of SCL’s inaugural Trailblazer Award in 2023.

Robert Duncan is a composer for films and television series. His recent project, The Night Agent, broke records, logging 627 million hours of viewing in the first 28 days, holding the number one spot on Netflix’s weekly top ten trending TV titles for a month, earning one of the fastest renewals in Netflix history, and ultimately taking spot number five on Netflix’s list of the most popular English-language series of all time. Another of his series, S.W.A.T., peaked at number one on the weekly top ten TV series in the U.S. in 2023. In other work, the theme he composed for the FX series Terriers, which featured his vocals and multi-instrumental performances, received praise from critics including Rolling Stone Magazine, who listed it as one of “The 100 Greatest TV Theme Songs of All Time,” and The Onion A.V. Club, who awarded it the “Best Theme Song F*cking Ever – Non-Hawaii Five-O Division.”

He has received four Emmy® nominations for his work, one for the theme to the Steven Spielberg-produced supernatural thriller The Whispers, and three in the category of Outstanding Music Composition for a Series for the scores to Castle, Missing, and Last Resort. The latter, a sweeping action thriller about the crew of a U.S. nuclear submarine who become fugitives after refusing to fire their nuclear missiles, got attention for its score in Variety magazine. The article described how Duncan, seeking to create a unique musical identity for the series, boarded a decommissioned Cold War-era submarine with a sound engineer and recorded experimental sounds to utilize within the score, essentially using the vessel as a giant percussion instrument.

Current projects include Jon Hamm's new series for MGM, American Hostage, the new reboot of Baywatch, and a Netflix Christmas movie called Guarding Stars. Past projects include the Queen Latifah-starrer The Equalizer, cult-hit Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and military action drama The Unit for 20th Century Fox, and the epic time travel fantasy series Timeless for NBC.

Ronit Kirchman is a composer expanding the frontiers of film and television music, recognized in the press as "an extremely original voice" with "a virtuoso touch," and "a truly unique force in the entertainment industry." Ronit's recent scores include the popular horror dramedy series Pretty Little Liars: Summer School (HBO Max), the dramatic feature American Solitaire (executive produced by David Oyelowo and Lisa Bruce), and the ambitious orchestral-electronic hybrid music of sci-fi film Fractal. Ronit has gained acclaim for her innovative, genre-bending score for the Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-nominated series The Sinner, which was named one of IndieWire's Best TV Scores two years in a row. Other projects include Kirchman's collaboration with Jessica Biel on Limetown, a dystopian thriller series based on the hit podcast (Peacock) ; a powerful horror-drama score for Evil Eye (Amazon/Blumhouse) which won her a Hollywood Music In Media Award for Best Original Score; and Manscaping, a provocative documentary. Her soundtrack albums are available from 22D, Water Tower Music, Lakeshore Records, and Wild River Records.

The recipient of multiple awards from the Sundance Institute, New Music USA, BMI, HΜΜΑ, American Composers Forum, and many others, Ronit is also a prolific songwriter, music producer, conductor, violinist, improviser, multi-instrumentalist, and singer. Growing up in New York City, Kirchman began playing violin at age four. While at Yale, she studied under Erick Friedman, a protégé of the legendary Jascha Heifetz. Ronit got her start as a composer and music director in NYC theater, and continues to compose original music for theater, dance, multimedia installations, and the concert stage.Ronit's discography includes work as a performer, producer and arranger, with recordings on 22D, Water Tower Music, Lakeshore Records, Wild River Records, Rounder, Rhino, Cerulean, Nine Winds, pfMentum, emr, Meta Records, Innova, Biophilia, and Vitamin, among others. She has performed and recorded internationally in many contexts, including free improvisation, classical, live electronica, rock, pop, jazz, blues, multi-cultural fusion, and country. Ronit has also collaborated with software manufacturers such as Eventide and Vienna Symphonic Library in creating custom software content, as well as programs about film scoring and sound design. As a storyteller beyond music, she is a poet, author, and visual artist.

Ronit is passionate about contributing to the creative community as an educator and mentor. As a board member of the Alliance for Women Film Composers, she co-founded its world-class Mentorship Program and served as one of its mentors. A longtime voting member of the Recording Academy and Television Academy, she is currently a mentor for BMI's prestigious Pete Carpenter Fellowship program, and has also been Composer-In-Residence at Columbia College Chicago, where she has taught multiple MFA film scoring seminars and led courses in systems-based composition and narrative-centered music. Ronit has taught as a guest lecturer at USC, Berklee School of Music, CalArts (where she received her MFA), Tufts, SCAD, and Occidental College, as well as other universities and music festivals such as FMP/Berlin and the Sundance Institute, on various topics including film scoring, narrative and movement-based approaches to musical improvisation, career development, voice work, and performance practice.

Sherri Chung is a three-time Emmy® nominated composer who has been recognized internationally as a trailblazer in the world of film and television scoring. Her music transcends genre and fuses inspirations—both traditional and emerging—in support of filmmakers’ visions worldwide.

Sherri recently composed the scores for HBO Max/Amblin’s two-season animated series Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai and Gremlins: The Wild Batch, for which she was nominated for two Children’s & Family Emmy Awards for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for an Animated Program. Other recent credits include Netflix’s live-action feature film Happiness For Beginners, NBC’s Found, and the Peacock original series Based on a True Story, which gave Sherri her third Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score). Frequently recognized for her other television credits, including CW network series Kung Fu, Batwoman, and Riverdale, NBC’s Blindspot, and Ava DuVernay’s limited series The Red Line, Sherri has also scored numerous feature films, documentaries, and commercials. Recent film credits include Warner Bros Studio’s Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, Tyler Perry’s Divorce in the Black, and The Lost Husband, the latter of which garnered her an SCL Award® nomination for Best Score for an Independent Studio Film. She also composed the score for The Other Side of Home, a film that was shortlisted in the 2017 Oscars® for Best Short Documentary. Most recently, Sherri scored Eli Roth’s documentary series, Let The Devil In, currently airing on MGM+. Upcoming projects include shows on NBC, Amazon and Paramount+. 

Alongside her composing work, Sherri is also a pianist, vocalist, performer and songwriter. As a vocalist, she has recorded for films (Sony Pictures’ 65 and the recent A24 film Heretic), commercials, trailer music, and television (ABC’s Resurrection, CW’s Arrow and NBC’s Blindspot). Her voice can also be heard on the Netflix documentary series The Keepers (Emmy-nominated for Outstanding Documentary). An active member of the film music industry, Sherri also served for four years as Governor of the Music Branch of the Television Academy.

Teri Nelson Carpenter is a music industry veteran. Her executive experience includes a background in performing rights management and overseeing major studio and network television music departments. Ms. Carpenter’s experience in creating, protecting, and monetizing music copyrights is well known and has earned her the highest level of respect worldwide. Ms. Carpenter is currently the President & CEO of Reel Muzik Werks, LLC, which is an innovative full-service independent music publisher specializing in music for Film & TV and international rights management. RMW provides Global Writer/Publisher Administration, Licensing & Clearance, and Music Supervision for all Media. RMW services include management of Performance, Mechanical, Neighboring, and Secondary Rights. As the executive in charge of network television music at Fox Family Worldwide/Saban Entertainment, Ms. Carpenter was responsible for overseeing Fox Family/Saban's global music business. Prior to that, Ms. Carpenter served as a Music Administration & Production Executive at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM Studios). Before that, she was the Director of Music at Academy Award®- winning indie company Hemdale Film Corp. Ms. Carpenter began her career at Broadcast Music Inc. in Film/TV relations. She spent much of her time at BMI working directly with composers, publishers, and content creators in providing assistance with their global performing rights concerns. 

Ms. Carpenter is also an in-demand speaker at conferences around the globe, including SXSW in Austin, TX; Canadian Music Week in Toronto; the AIMP Indie Music Publishing Summit in New York City; NATPE, Miami; Music Biz Nashville; All About Music in Mumbai, India; Output Belfast Music Conference; IMRO’s Business of Music Seminar Dublin, Ireland, AEDEM in Barcelona, Spain, MIDEM, Cannes France and Vancouver International Film Festival emphasizing her status as a key member of the international music community. She was recently tapped by the U.S. State Department to be a mentor and speaker at the Global Entrepreneur Summit in Hyderabad, India, whose theme “Women First, Prosperity for All” involved women from over 160 countries.

Ms. Carpenter holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Vocal Performance & Composition from Cal State Long Beach, where she graduated with honors. Her postgraduate studies included extension courses at UCLA in International Business, and she is also a recurring guest lecturer in the music department at UCLA. Ms. Carpenter is a recent two-term President of the California Copyright Conference and Finance Chair of the Board of Directors of the Copyright Alliance in Washington, D.C. Currently, Ms. Carpenter serves as a member of the Independent Publishers Advisory Counsel for the NMPA. She is also the LA Chapter President and former National Chair of the Association of Independent Music Publishers and serves on the Executive Board of the Independent Music Publishers International Forum. Ms. Carpenter is a member of the Joint Project Lead at CISAC, which governs all X-Industry music projects. She is also an active member of the Society Publisher Forum, where she lends her experience in many groups, including the A/V working groups, along with serving on the Steering Committee & Working Group for CIS-Net, a FastTrack / CISAC global music database project. Finally, Ms. Carpenter is a proud member of the Leadership Music Class of 2022.

Tim Lauer is an Emmy®-nominated songwriter, music producer, and composer whose decades-long career in Nashville, Tennessee has spanned a multitude of genres and roles. He is currently working as Executive Music Producer on Rose Hill (Amazon) and on ABC's Nashville 911 as music producer and songwriter. In recent years, his work can be heard on shows such as the upcoming Murdaugh Murders (NBC), The Bondsman (Amazon) starring Kevin Bacon and Jennifer Nettles, Big Sky (ABC), Netflix's Country Comfort (Composer, Main Title, Song Producer), CMT/ABC's Nashville (Executive Music Producer, Seasons 5-6), OWN's Greenleaf (Songwriter/Song Producer, Main Title), With Love, Book Club: The Next Chapter, Women of The Movement, A League of Their Own, and many others.

Tim is no stranger to the collaborative nature of making music for picture. He has produced hundreds of pre-records for film and TV, including multi-cam comedy, music biopics, film, TV dramas, and advertisements. He has also arranged strings for Shania Twain, Dolly Parton, Blake Shelton, Kaleo, Eliza and the Bear, Gavin DeGraw, The Smashing Pumpkins, Shawn Mendes, Wim Wenders, and many others.

In addition, Tim's songs have been featured in advertisements for BMW, Target, L'Oreal, Tiffany & Co., Coke, Sephora, and Microsoft as well as for shows such as Carnival Row, The Stranger, One Tree Hill, Bones, Homeland, and Pretty Little Liars. His work in TV and film has earned him several ASCAP Screen Awards, and his contributions as a musician have garnered two ACM Award nominations for Keyboard Player of the Year.

He has amassed hundreds of credits as a session musician for artists such as Taylor Swift, The Struts, Mikky Ekko, Rodney Crowell, The Civil Wars, Keith Urban, Cheap Trick, Brad Paisley, Megadeth, Keb' Mo', Mickey Guyton, Luke Bryan, Lucinda Williams, Linda Ronstadt, and many more. Lauer continues to build a long history of work with respected artists and musicians, and worked closely with Burt Bacharach on the arrangements for Burt's 2020 album Blue Umbrella.

Wayne Kirkpatrick is best known for his 1996 Grammy® Award-winning song of the year, “Change The World,” recorded by Babyface and Eric Clapton. What you may not know is that Wayne has had over 200 songs recorded in the last 30 years. He has enjoyed Pop, Country, R&B and CCM success with songs such as “Every Heartbeat” and “Good For Me” by Amy Grant, “Place In This World” by Michael W. Smith, as well as recordings by Don Henley, Wynonna, Faith Hill, Trisha Yearwood, Tyler Hilton, Gabe Dixon, Tim McGraw, Martina McBride, Joe Cocker, Reba McEntire and The Wreckers (“My, Oh My”).

Wayne solely wrote Garth Brooks’ single “Wrapped Up In You” and penned the song used in the Garth Brooks’ Dr. Pepper commercial. He is also a writer on Bonnie Raitt’s singles “I Can’t Help You Now” and “I Will Not Be Broken,” as well as “Take My Love With You” from her Grammy Award-winning Slipstream album, and had the first single from her album, Dig in Deep, entitled “Gypsy in Me.” He has produced and written on three Little Big Town records, yielding such top ten hits as “Boondocks,” “Bring It On Home,” “A Little More You,” and “Little White Church.” His songs have been featured in movies including Almost Famous, Phenomenon, and Bruce Almighty, as well as TV shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, Hart of Dixie, True Blood, and Nashville. His song “When You Act” was written for and featured on an episode of the Netflix original series Julie’s Greenroom, performed by Julie Andrews and Alec Baldwin.

Wayne is also co-creator and co-composer/lyricist of the Broadway musical, Something Rotten!, which was nominated for 10 Tony® awards, including Best Score. He wrote songs for the Warner Bros. animated feature Smallfoot, and is a composer/lyricist for Mrs. Doubtfire, The Musical, his second Broadway production, which also played in London’s West End and is currently touring the UK. Wayne was inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. A long-time game enthusiast, he is also co-writing/producing/directing a documentary about the history of board games, which is ongoing.
