In partnership with EA Music, the SCL presents a virtual panel exploring how a composer, music director, and audio director collaborate to create the soundtracks and sonic worlds of video games. Featuring composer Gordy Haab, music director Seth Wright, and audio director Ed Lima, the panel will offer an inside look at how these three roles work together to shape a game’s musical identity and overall audio experience.

The panel will explore the creative process behind developing themes, supporting characters and stories, integrating music with gameplay, and creating an interactive score that evolves alongside the player. The panelists will discuss the collaboration, challenges, and technologies involved in bringing a game’s musical vision to life, providing an inside look at the teamwork behind creating immersive and memorable video game soundtracks.
