A horror anthology featuring the scariest stories from every state in the country. Executive Producer Sam Raimi brings each terrifying tale to life. The first episodes are The Golden Arm (Michigan) Parts 1 – 3, directed by Sam Raimi, co-written by brothers Sam and Ivan Raimi, and starring Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel). Christopher Young has scored The Golden Arm episodes and the Original Main Title theme for the series.

Christopher Young is a Golden Globe and two-time Emmy-nominated composer. He has collaborated with critically-acclaimed directors including Sam Raimi, Norman Jewison, Tyler Perry, Scott Derrickson, Barry Levinson, Curtis Hanson, and Jon Amiel. In a career spanning over 35 years, Young has scored over 160 films in virtually every genre, from bone-chilling horrors HellraiserThe Grudge, and Sinister, to comedies including Tyler Perry’s A Madea Christmas and The Single Moms Club, action-packed thrillers Ghostrider and Spider-Man 3, and award-winning dramas The Shipping News and The Hurricane. Young scored The Monkey King, directed by Pou-Soi Cheang, which was the first Chinese film to break the worldwide Box Office, at the time surpassing The Wolf of Wall Street and Frozen. Recent projects for Young include the hit 2019 remake of Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. Upcoming is the supernatural horror The Empty Man (20th Century Studios), based on the graphic novel of the same name, set to be released on August 7th. Young has most recently reteamed with legendary director Sam Raimi for his 50 States of Fright series on the brand new streaming service, Quibi, creating its chilling main title theme, and scoring the three-part episode The Golden Arm, directed by Raimi and starring Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).

Young’s music has garnered recognition including Emmy nominations, one for Norma Jean & Marilyn, along with a Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award nomination for The Shipping News. In addition to his film composing career, Young is a dedicated mentor who teaches at USC and serves as an advisor for the Sundance Institute Film Composers Lab and The Society of Composers & Lyricists. He is also the recipient of the BMI Career Achievement Award. He received The 2019 Fimucité Antón García Abril Award, The 2008 Richard Kirk Award for outstanding career achievement, A Saturn Award and, several BMI Film & TV Awards.
