Just like in movies, songs in games are driving stories, immersing players and connecting them with characters in the game. But how are these songs created, and what are the differences to writing for artists? In this seminar, we will discuss the collaboration between composers, songwriters, artists and audio leads at game companies. We will also dive into topics like translating a music brief and turning it into a song, pitching song ideas, and specifics on creating songs that feel customized to a game and its world.
