The Composer’s Toolkit: A Look at Score Analysis is a seminar that will delve into score analysis as one of the most essential tools for a composer. It will offer a view from the inside of the actual process of scoring-to-picture through analyzing cues from landmark film scores. Andy Hill, together with Jonathan Grow, will unravel how score study is a crucial tool for developing one’s own music, as well as reinforcing the composer’s understanding of how to shape each cue to the story being told.
